1. Project Overview

In view of the problems such as wear, scratches, and partial peeling of the original coatings in the water park's splash area and lazy river, light renovation operations were used to restore the surface integrity and aesthetics, improve the water resistance and impact resistance of the coating, ensure the normal operation of the facilities, and extend the service life.
2. Core material selection and characteristics
(1) Interface agent ( 1 all over)
1. type: Epoxy interface agent (adapts to the connection between the original coating and the new topcoat to avoid delamination)
2. Core features:
◦ High adhesion: Bonding strength to old polished coating and concrete base ≥1.5MPa , to prevent later layering;
◦ Excellent water resistance: Water absorption after curing ≤3% , adapted to the long-term humid environment of the water park;
◦ Quick drying: Normal temperature ( 20-25℃ )Down 4-6 The hours are dry, 12 Topcoat construction can be carried out in hours, shortening the construction period.
(2) Topcoat ( 2 all over)
1. type: Topcoat (taking into account environmental protection and durability, complying with safety standards for amusement facilities)
2. Core features:
◦ Impact resistance + Wear resistance: pencil hardness ≥2H , wear resistance ( Taber Wear resistance test) ≤5mg/1000 Turn to resist the stampede of tourists and the friction of drifting boats;
◦ Water and chemical resistance: No bubbling or peeling after long-term immersion in water, and resistant to swimming pool disinfectants (chlorine concentration ≤10ppm )corrosion;
◦ Easy to clean + beautiful: Surface gloss ( 60° ) optional matte ( 20-30° ) or semi-matte ( 40-50° ), the stains are easy to rinse, and the color can be customized (matching the original color of the water park).
3. Core construction process (total construction period: 5-7 Day, press 1000 (measured in square meters)
(1) Preliminary preparation ( 1 sky)
1. Facility shutdown and isolation: Shut down and renovate regional water system, empty lazy river / If water accumulates in the play area (use a submersible pump to drain out the remaining water), set up a hard isolation enclosure (height ≥1.2m ), post “ No entry allowed during construction ” Warning signs.
2. perimeter protection: Use waterproof plastic film to cover peripheral equipment (such as water spouts, lights, handrails) and floor tiles, and seal the edges with masking paper to avoid paint contamination.
3. Tool preparation: Large mill / Angle grinder (with 80-120 mesh sandpaper disc), hand-held sander (corner treatment), vacuum cleaner (industrial grade), wool roller (surface agent / topcoat), putty knife (for repairs), hygrometer, tape measure.
(2) Original coating treatment ( 1-2 sky)
1. Overall polishing:
◦ large area: Use an angle grinder to grind at a constant speed along the river (drifting river) or transversely (playing area) to remove the aging layer, stains, and raised impurities on the surface of the old coating. The grinding depth should be controlled at 0.1-0.2mm (Only remove the worn layer, leaving the intact old coating as the basis);
◦ corners / Seams: Use a hand-held sander to sand finely to avoid damaging the base layer by over-sanding;
◦ clean up: Immediately after polishing, use an industrial vacuum cleaner to remove the dust, and then wipe it with a damp cloth (wrung out) 2 all over to ensure that there is no dust or oil on the surface (testing standards: There is no obvious dust residue when touched by hand).
1. Moisture content detection: Use a hygrometer to detect the moisture content of the base layer. ≤8% ;If the moisture content exceeds the standard (such as after rain), turn on the industrial fan (every 50 ㎡ 1 (Taiwan)) ventilate and dry until it reaches the standard.
(3) Damage repair ( 0.5-1 sky)
1. Damage classification and processing:
◦ Small scratches (depth ≤0.5mm ): Directly fill it with special putty for topcoat (the same color as the topcoat). After scraping it smooth, use 240 Lightly smooth it with mesh sandpaper;
◦ Peel off / Exposed base layer (area ≤0.1 ㎡): First clean up the loose base layer in the damaged area (remove it with a putty knife), then use epoxy repair mortar (mixed with: A Components: B Components = 1:1 ) Fill until it is flush with the surrounding old coating and cure 6 hours later, use 120 Grind with sandpaper to make it smooth;
◦ Cracked seams (width ≤2mm ): Inject water-based epoxy sealant, scrape the surface with a scraper, and cure. 4 Sand after hours.
1. Post-patch inspection: Visually check whether the repaired area is smooth and there is no obvious unevenness when touched with your hands to ensure smooth connection with the surrounding old coating.
(4) Interface agent construction ( 0.5 sky)
1. Material ratio: According to the interface agent product description (usually A Components: B Components = 10:1 ) mix, stirring with an electric mixer 2 minutes (speed 500r/min ), let stand 5 minutes to eliminate bubbles and mix after 1 Use within hours (to avoid curing).
2. Painting construction:
◦ Use a wool roller to apply the paint evenly in the same direction, and control the thickness to 30-40μm (Amount per square meter is approximately 0.2kg ), focus on the repairs and corner joints (can apply more 1 Enhance adhesion all over);
◦ Avoid coating leakage and sagging: If sagging occurs, immediately use a dry roller to smooth it out; mark the missed areas and then reapply;
◦ dry: Let stand at room temperature 6 hours (or according to product instructions) until the interface agent is completely dry (testing standards: There will be no trace if pressed lightly with your fingers).
(5) Topcoat construction ( 2 sky, 2 all over)
1. First coat of topcoat ( 1 sky):
◦ Proportion: Two-component topcoat A Components: B Components = 5:1 (or product instructions) mix, stir 3 Let stand after minutes 5 minutes, after mixing 2 Used within hours;
◦ Paint: Use a short-haired wool roller (to avoid lint loss) to brush in the sanding direction, and control the thickness to 50-60μm (Amount per square meter is approximately 0.3kg ), the curved surface area of the drifting river can be painted in small sections to ensure even coverage;
◦ dry: Dry at room temperature 8-12 hours (avoid exposure to high temperatures or rain, and cover with a rainproof cloth if it rains).
1. Second coat of topcoat ( 1 sky):
◦ examine: After the first drying, visually check whether there are any leaks or pinholes. If necessary, use fine sandpaper ( 400 mesh) Reapply after light sanding;
◦ Paint: Apply in a direction perpendicular to the first pass (to enhance coating uniformity), and control the thickness at 60-70μm (Amount per square meter is approximately 0.35kg ), the total dry film thickness reaches 110-130μm ;
◦ dry: Dry at room temperature 12-24 hours, during which no one is allowed to enter and no one is allowed to get wet.
(6) Acceptance and restoration ( 0.5 sky)
1. Quality acceptance:
◦ Appearance: The coating surface is smooth, without leakage, sagging, pinholes or peeling, and the color is uniform (consistent with the design color card);
◦ adhesion: Use the crosshatch method to detect (crosshatch spacing 1mm , row 3 horizontal lines + 3 vertical lines), adhesion level ≥1 Grade (no coating peeling off);
◦ closed water test: lazy river / Fill the water play area to the normal water level (fill the lazy river to the water depth) 1/2 ), let stand 24 hours, check that there is no leakage and no bubbling in the coating.
1. On-site recovery: Remove the isolation fence, clean the protective plastic film and masking paper, rinse the surrounding ground with clean water, and check and restore the equipment (such as turning on the water spout for testing).
4. Key points of quality control
1. Material control: Interface agents and topcoats must provide factory certificates and test reports.
2. Process acceptance: After each process is completed, the next process can be entered.
3. environmental control: The construction temperature is controlled at 5-35℃ , relative humidity ≤85% ;If the temperature is lower than 5℃ , you need to turn on the heater (avoid open flames) to heat up; use a dehumidifier to reduce humidity when the humidity exceeds the standard.
5. Safety protection measures
1. Personal protection: Operators need to avoid direct skin contact with coatings and auxiliary materials; conduct safety training before construction and master emergency handling methods.
2. Site protection: Set up obvious warning signs at the construction site and keep the construction site well ventilated.
3. Device security: Before construction, check the lines and joints of the high-pressure airless spray equipment to ensure that there is no leakage; equipment operators must hold certificates and operate in strict accordance with the equipment operating procedures, and illegal operations are prohibited; after construction, clean the equipment in time to prevent the paint from solidifying and clogging the pipelines.
